Great achievements

Yorkshire Challenge Cup winners on 13 occasions - 1926, 1927, 1928, 1930, 1933, 1935, 1950, 1951, 1964, 1967, 1971, 2004 and 2005.
Northern Premier 7-side winners beating Coventry at Sale in the 1971 final.
Defeating mighty Swansea on their own ground 8-6 in 1955.
Losing to Moseley, away 22-0, in the quarter final of the then National Knockout Cup.
Gaining promotion in the inaugural CCC 1987-88 season, when required to win the last four hard matches to do so, which they did to beat Bradford & Bingley on points difference.
Winning 17-12 versus Bradford & Bingley away in 1991 with a scratch side, against all the odds thus qualifying for the 1991-92 Pilkington KO Cup.
Champions of North East 1 in 1999-2000. Champions of North 2 East in 2000-01. Champions of North 1 in 2001-02 and thus achieving National League status.
Winners of RFU Powergen Intermediate Cup, Twickenham, Saturday 20 April 2002. Gosport and Fareham 19 points, Halifax 43 points.
Champions of National League 3 North in 2004-05 thus achieving promotion to National League 2, and being placed in the top 40 clubs in England, Halifax's highest league level ever.
